Practical information before the session

A standard session usually lasts between 1 and 2 hours, but I do not work with a stopwatch. This gives us enough time to calmly explore different types of shots without rushing through everything. The best portraits usually appear only once the tension disappears.

In practice, a good pace matters more than the exact number of minutes. The point is to have space for small adjustments, changing the setup, checking the results, and taking a moment to get comfortable with the camera.

If we are planning a more extensive session — with several outfits or photos for different uses — we discuss it in advance. That way, the whole thing has a clear purpose and does not turn into a random collection of shots.

Yes — every selected photo goes through professional editing. This includes colour correction, light adjustment, and subtle refinements to skin and details, but without changing your facial features or creating an artificial look.

The editing style is intentionally restrained. The image should look good and feel current not only today, but also a few years from now — without excessive smoothing and without trends that age too quickly.

The final portrait should simply be a cleaner, more refined, and better version of reality. Naturalness matters more than a forced “wow” effect.

The best approach is not to overcomplicate it. You do not need any experience in front of the camera or any special preparation. Just come well-rested and bring 1–2 clothing options that suit you and match where the photos will be used later.

Before the session, we define the direction: whether these are photos for LinkedIn, a website, company materials, or a more personal portrait. This makes it easier to choose the right level of formality, clothing, and overall character.

The session itself is guided so that you do not have to “know what to do.” Comfort, a good pace, and clear guidance matter most — that is when the photos look natural rather than forced.

The session can take place in a studio, in an office, or at a chosen location. Each option creates a slightly different result — more formal, more relaxed, or more lifestyle-oriented. The choice mainly depends on what the photos are meant for.

For business photos, a studio or company space works especially well because it strengthens the professional character of the portrait. For more personal images, we can allow more freedom and a less formal setting.

If you do not have a specific place in mind, I can help you choose one. The most important thing is that everything feels cohesive and not accidental.

Yes — I also create portraits for companies, teams, and larger groups of employees. These sessions can take place in the office, during industry events, or throughout the working day, without the need to organise a trip for the whole team to a studio.

I bring a mobile studio to the location, which makes it possible to create consistent, professional portraits directly at the client’s office. It is a convenient solution when several or even a dozen people need to be photographed efficiently.

These kinds of photos work especially well on websites, in company communication, on LinkedIn, and in press materials. It is a combination of studio portrait quality and the convenience of working on location.

I will guide you through the entire session so that you look natural, calm, and confident — whether it is a business portrait, a corporate headshot, or a more personal branding session.

No stiff poses. No artificial effect. No guessing what to do with your hands.

I work in Torun as well as in Bydgoszcz, Brodnica, and Gdansk — in a studio, outdoors, or directly at your company.

Sessions for teams and companies are also available.
